Salvador de Bahia was the original capital of Brazil and is steeped in tradition. It is one of Brazil’s largest cities and a popular tourist destination. Therefore, it’s also a great place to teach English. Salvador has a large Carnival celebration, second in size only to Rio’s, and preferred by many (including me!).
